The demand for wireless connectivity is growing and ranges from supporting billions of low power, low bandwidth to mobile massive bandwidth devices. Our research interests include the creation to new technologies to support these demands and constraints.
The explosion of demand for wireless access is placing a great burden on current infrastructure and existing resources. At the same time, new technologies are making powerful new applications such as IoT and mobile augmented reality possible. The question then exists: how can we meet the demand in light of the constraints? This is the question that the Connectivity Research Center aims to answer; our capabilities and assets exist to support this goal. Our research in the areas of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communications, cognitive radio, and low-power long-range networks will enable new technologies to meet the growing demands for wireless connectivity.
